Smith pleads not guilty in 104 crash that killed four
PORTSMOUTH- A Piketon man pleaded not guilty Monday on dozens of charges connected to the May vehicle crash deaths of a mother and three children.
McDermott woman arrested for aggravated murder
MCDERMOTT- The Scioto County 911 communication center received a call around 9:33 a.m., Sunday, from a neighbor on Euton Road in McDermott reporting a shooting next door. A second 911 call came in from a female claiming she had shot her boyfriend.

Burg chase ends with one arrest, felony charges
Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman states the 911 communication center received a call at 7:36 a.m. Tuesday from a male stating his pickup truck had just been stolen. The victim advised he had parked his truck and went into Speedee Mart, 220 Center St., Wheelersburg, when an unknown male got into his truck and drove away.
