THEFT—Report of stolen equipment from business on Ohio 104. 6:40 a.m., Monday, April 8.

PORTSMOUTH- Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman said the 911 communication center received a call at about 2:33 p.m., Monday, April 8, from a resident in the 7000 block of Ohio 125, reporting two men were breaking into her house. After being confronted by the caller’s husband the two fled through the rear of the victim’s property in a burgundy Ford Ranger.

BURGLARY—Report of a burglary on Darnell Road. 9:58 a.m., Monday, April 1.

Scioto County Prosecutor Shane A. Tieman has announced the Scioto County Grand Jury met March 15 and returned 20 public indictments. The defendants indicted are charged as follows:

A man arrested in the death of a West Portsmouth woman has been found currently incompetent to stand trial.

PORTSMOUTH- Two people from West Virginia have been arrested on drug and weapons charges following a traffic stop.
