Post Offices to close in Observance of Labor Day
OHIO — Post Offices will be closed on Monday, September 5, 2022, in observance of Labor Day. There will be no mail delivery, caller service or Post Office Box service. All services will resume on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
Beattie retires from DOE site after 46 years
PIKETON - When Charlie Beattie first began working as a janitor at the Department of Energy’s Portsmouth site, he didn’t know he would eventually find his way to Power Operations. During the in-between years, he worked in Converter Maintenance, Cascade Maintenance, and Feed and Withdrawal Operations. Beattie retired this week from Fluor-BWXT Portsmouth with more than 46 years of service.
