PIKETON - September 1 marked the first day of retirement for Fluor-BWXT Portsmouth site Chemist Monica TeVault.
The Portsmouth Scioto County Visitors Bureau (PSCVB) is announcing the retirement of Kim Bauer effective September 15, 2022. Kim has served as Director of PSCVB for the past 15 years.

PIKETON - When Charlie Beattie first began working as a janitor at the Department of Energy’s Portsmouth site, he didn’t know he would eventually find his way to Power Operations. During the in-between years, he worked in Converter Maintenance, Cascade Maintenance, and Feed and Withdrawal Operations. Beattie retired this week from Fluor-BWXT Portsmouth with more than 46 years of service.
The Portsmouth Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual Business After Hours (BAH) on the Riverfront, its most attended event in the series, just this past Wednesday.
JACKSON - Atomic Credit Union is pleased to announce that Curtis Green has been promoted to Senior Vice President-Chief Information Officer. Curtis began his career with Atomic over 18 years ago, in 2004, and began as a Teller. Over the years, he has worked in lending, collections, assisting the IT Department, and now the Senior Vice President-Chief Information Officer.
