Couple wanted for trafficking

A Franklin Furnace couple is being sought by Scioto County Sheriff’s office for trafficking in Flakka, the new bath salt. Donini said his detectives have been actively working on several cases involving the drug.

Reports reveal that detectives were able to identify suspects that were having Flakka delivered to them through the mail from other countries. During the course of the investigation, detectives were able to seize two deliveries of the Flakka and interview possible suspects. The suspected Flakka was sent to the BCI&I lab for testing which resulted in charges being presented to the Scioto County Grand Jury who returned an indictment warrant on two suspects.

The suspects are currently on the run being looked for. Timothy I. Brumfield, 35 and Misty Holt, 35 last known addresses being 2089 B Big Pete Road Franklin Furnace. Detectives have received information that the two have moved to Lewis County, Ky.
