Two juveniles, one adult injured in crash

According to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), a two-vehicle crash occurred on Sunday on Denver Road in Pike County resulting in injuries.

Authorities said Brittany Kelley, 26, was driving a 2006 Jeep Commander, with two juvenile passengers, all of Lucasville, and was traveling westbound on Denver Road on Sunday. A 2008 Dodge Avenger driven by Kali Farmer, 19, of Waverly, was traveling eastbound on Denver Road. Farmer failed to yield half of the roadway and struck Kelley’s vehicle.

According to reports, the two juvenile passengers were transported to Columbus Children’s Hospital by Med-flight with non-incapacitating injuries. Farmer was transported to Ohio State Wexner Center by Air Evac non-incapacitating injuries.

Assisting at the scene with OSHP, were Pike County EMS, Pee Pee Twp Fire Department, Waverly PD, and Pike County Sheriff’s Office. According to OSHP, the crash remains under investigation.
