Lane Restrictions On S.R. 335 Wednesday; Lucasville-Minford Road to be restricted for survey work

Chillicothe (Tuesday, May 17, 2016) – Motorists will encounter lane restrictions on state Route 335 in Scioto County tomorrow in conjunction with the Southern Ohio Veterans Memorial Highway project.

On Wednesday, May 18, crews from the Portsmouth Joint Venture will reduce S.R. 335 between T.R. 234 (Shumway Hollow Road) and County Road 12 (Bennett Schoolhouse Road), where crews will be conducting test work for Bridge 7 at C.R. 540 (Barklow Road). The restrictions are scheduled to be in effect from approximately 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and traffic will be maintained by flaggers throughout the day.

In addition to the restrictions on S.R. 335, C.R. 28 (Lucasville-Minford Road) will be reduced to one lane between Flower Ison Road and Rase’s Mountain Drive for survey and monitoring work related to the recent shift that has occurred in the roadway.

The restrictions will be in effect on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for an indeterminate period of time, and traffic will be maintained by flaggers when crews are working at this location.
