911 calls released

On Saturday afternoon Attorney General Mike DeWine released two audio recordings of the 911 calls that reported the initial incidents on Friday. In the first recording the caller is describing what turns out to be the scene in which seven people were found shot. The second recording would result in the eighth body being found.

Call one

911 dispatcher answers the call to find a woman out of breath.

911 dispatcher; What’s the address

Woman; 4777 Union Hill Road

911 dispatcher; You’ve got to tell me what’s going on

Woman; There’s blood all over the house

Woman; There’s blood all over the front room

911 dispatcher; I need you to get out of the house

Woman; They look like they’re dead

911 dispatcher; you think they are both dead?

Woman; I think they are both dead, looks like someone beat the crap out of them

911 dispatcher; Is there anyone else in the house?

Woman; Not that I know of

Woman; The doors were locked when we go here, I know they were attacked, I went in and they were laying on the floor

911 dispatcher; Get out of the house and wait

Woman; I’m standing outside

911 dispatcher; Stay out of the house and don’t let anyone go in there

911 dispatcher; We have deputies on the way

Woman bursts into tears

Call ends

Second 911 call

911 Dispatcher; This is 911 can I help you

Man; I need a deputy to come out to close to 799 Left Fork Road

Man; All of this stuff that’s on the news, I just found my cousin with a gunshot wound

911 Dispatcher; Is he alive

Man; no, no

Man; I’ll be standing out by the road waiting

911 dispatcher; Are you out of the house

Man; I’m out of the house, I just went in hollering for him, I was checking in on him. I looked up and he had a gun shot wound

911 dispatcher; Ok sir, we’re going to get deputies out to you
