FLATWOODS, Ky. — KYOWA Writers is hosting a one day Writing Workshop on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Flatwoods Senior Center, 2513 Reed Street in Flatwoods, Ky.
Fonda Warnock, President KYOWA Writers said their objective is to keep people interested in writing.
“We like to promote writing in whatever ways we can. We usually have two events each year, one is our two-day conference in the spring, which we usually have at Greenbo Lake, and then a one-day event in the fall,” Warnock said.
The Workshop will feature two tracks, one for young writers and another for adults who write for the youth audience. Topics will consist of Building Plot and Storytelling, Authenticity of Voice, Publishing Today, and Book Cover Design.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and a morning snack and lunch will be provided for all Workshop participants.
