The Fairland Dragons defeated the Minford Falcons Tuesday night 3-0. They advance to the sectional semifinal match against the SOC winning Wheelersburg Pirates.

Minford had trouble finishing long exchanges with Fairland and lost a tough first set 25-23. It was downhill from there onward. Head Coach Rachael Jenkins Coriell had few words after the loss.

“It was just more of the same season, it seems like we are still struggling to find our way,” she said. “They are good girls, but we just didn’t have a lot of varsity playing experience this year. We are a young team and everyone will be back next year but one. We have to fit in together and figure out how to make it work.”

Fairland travels to Wheelersburg Saturday. Tipoff is at 4.P.M.
