New Boston tops Green

The New Boston volleyball team came up with a win on Thursday evening, sweeping Green in straight sets at Glenwood High School 25-13, 25-7, 25-11.

The Tigers were led by sophomore Ali Hamilton, who recorded a team-high 10 kills to go along with four aces. Mariah Buckley also recorded four aces to go along with five kills and eight assists.

The New Boston offense was paced by Madison Salisbury, who led the Tigers with nine assists.

Defensively, Kaylee Stone led the way with five blocks to go along with five kills.

The Tigers take the court again on Monday, when they host Oak Hill in a non-conference matchup. The Bobcats take the floor again Tuesday, when they host Western.
