Wheelersburg volleyball sweeps Minford

The Wheelersburg volleyball (3-0, 3-0 SOC II) team stayed undefeated on Tuesday evening, as they swept the Minford Falcons 25-14, 25-19, 25-7.

Senior Marley Hanzel proved to be the offensive leader for the Pirates, recording a team-high 13 kills. She also came up with seven points.

Setter Kasey Began recorded 25 assists and 10 points, while sophomore Ellie Ruby came up with seven points of her own.

Wheelersburg takes the floor again on Thursday when they host Oak Hill. Minford is also back in action on Thursday, when they travel to take on Portsmouth West.
