Titans down Vikings by one

The Notre Dame Titans picked up another SOC I win Friday night as they defeated the Symmes Valley Vikings at Notre Dame High School. With the win, the Titans gave the Vikings a third close loss in recent games.

The Vikings lost to the Eastern Eagles in overtime, and then fell to the Western Indians by two points. Friday night, the Titans defeated the Vikings 46-45.

Notre Dame had three players reach double figures in their one-point win over Symmes Valley.

Hattachai Buttayotee led the Titans with 22 points on the night. Trevon Turner also added a double figure performance for Notre Dame, as he finished with 12 points.

Symmes Valley had a couple of players hit double figures as well.

Jarod Sheppard scored 15 points Friday night, leading all other Viking players. Payton Hayes added 13 points to the Symmes Valley cause in the loss to the Titans.

Notre Dame will travel to North Adams on Tuesday evening. Game time is set for about 7:30 p.m.

The Vikings will hit the hardwood on Friday night as they host the East Tartans. Tipoff for the SOC match-up between the Vikings and Tartans is set for about 7:30 p.m.
