The Minford Falcons picked their third conference win Tuesday evening, after they defeated their SOC II rival, the South Webster Jeeps, 12-4.

After two scoreless innings, the Falcons broke the 0-0 tie with two runs in the third inning, followed by another two runs in the fourth, to take a 4-0 lead over the Jeeps after four complete innings.

South Webster got their first run of the game in the fifth inning, and then scored three more runs in their half of the sixth inning.

As the game went into the bottom half of the sixth inning, the Falcons were able to put together a big inning to score eight runs on the Jeeps.

Now trailing 12-4, South Webster faced a mountain of a deficit, one which they were unable to summit, as they were held scoreless in the seventh inning, finalizing Minford’s win.

With the win, the Falcons improve their record to 6-2 overall, and 3-2 in the SOC II.
