Glenwood wins first SOC game

The Glenwood Tigers picked up their first SOC win of the season, Friday night, against the Green Bobcats at Glenwood High School in New Boston.

Drake Truitt led the way for the Glenwood Tigers, as they defeated the Green Bobcats, 67-54. Truitt earned double-double honors in the win. He scored 19 points for the Tigers, and pulled down 14 rebounds.

Kade Conley tied his fellow Tiger in scoring, finishing with 19 points.

Kyle McQuithy also found his way to double figures, as he ended the night with 10 points.

Green had two players reach double figures in the loss on Friday night, Taylor Carver and Hunter Lewis. Carver led the Bobcats with 16 points, while Lewis finished just behind, with 15 points.

Up next for the Tigers will be the Eastern Eagles on Tuesday night. Tipoff is set for around 7:30 p.m. and will take place at Glenwood High School in New Boston.

The Bobcats will face the Western Indians at home in Franklin Furnace on Tuesday night. Tipoff is set for about 7:30 p.m.
