Northwest 70 (17-3, 11-3 SOC II), East 17 (1-18, 0-12 SOC I)
After dropping back-to-back games in Southern Ohio Conference Division II play, the Northwest Lady Mohawks bounced back with a 53-point victory over the visitng East Lady Tartans.
Five Lady Mohawks scored at least eight points in Wednesday’s non-league win over East. Northwest was led in scoring by Haidyn Wamsley and Keirah Potts’ game-high 14 points apiece.
Northwest is back in action on Monday when they will host Waverly while East travels to Western on Thursday in SOC I play.

South Webster 60 (11-7, 9-4 SOC II), Eastern 47
Now winners of their last six games, the Lady Jeeps of South Webster defeated the host Eastern Lady Eagles by a 13-point margin in Wednesday’s make-up game in Southern Ohio Conference Division II play.
Led by sophomore Bri Claxon’s season-high 33, South Webster has extended their current winning streak to six games — five of which have came in SOC II play.
South Webster will host Oak Hill on Thursday as the Lady Jeeps go for their seventh straight victory.

Her game-winning three happened to be her first of the game, but Green junior Kame Sweeney’s clutch shot also happened to be the first of her career in her Lady Bobcats’ 46-43 overtime win over visting Fairview (Ky.) who falls to 17-4 following Wednesday’s non-league loss.
Wednesday’s result for the Lady Bobcats is a 19-point turnaround from their 53-37 loss to Fairview in Westwood back in December.
Green prepares to host Symmes Valley on Thursday in hopes of claiming their third-straight game.
