NEW BOSTON – On the fourth quarter three-point shot pictured above, New Boston junior Kyle Sexton scored his 1,000th career point in a Tiger uniform in his team’s 59-36 home win over the Clay Panthers.
In addition to Sexton becoming the newest Tiger in Glenwood High School history to break the 1,000 point mark, Sexton’s Tigers improved to 14-1 with a perfect 9-0 record in SOC I play with Tuesday’s win.
Needing 19 points entering the game to surpass the one-thousand mark, Sexton’s fourth quarter three which helped seal the game and give him a game-high of 20 points.
New Boston will travel to Green on Friday in a rematch of the 56-43 Tigers’ win back on December 20th.
