Lady Jeeps beat Tigers, 53-32

The South Webster Lady Jeeps defeated the Waverly Lady Tigers 53-32 Thursday evening in an SOC matchup.

Three Lady Jeeps reached double figures in scoring Thursday evening. Ellie Jo Johnson led the way for the Lady Jeeps, as she scored 16 points. Kacie Hall had an impressive night as well, adding 14 points to the South Webster cause, while Cheyenne Weakley put 11 on the scoreboard.

In the loss, Waverly’s Laken Smith led the way for the Lady Tigers scoring 18 points against South Webster. Smith nearly had a double-double on the evening. She brought down eight rebounds, and had four steals during the contest.

Kilee Perdue put up eight points for Waverly, as well as racking up three rebounds and two assists.

The Lady Jeeps will travel to Lucasville on Monday, as they take on the Valley Lady Indians. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Waverly will host the Northwest Lady Mohawks Monday night at 7:30 p.m.
