The South Webster Jeeps beat the Chesapeake Panthers 9-1 Monday evening to advance in the Division III South Eastern Distract tournament. They will face the Northwest Mohawks (11-4) who defeated New Boston.

Shane Zimmerman scorched the net for five goals during the game. South Webster managed to pour on seven goals in the first half and limit the Panthers to only one goal early in the game.

“We wanted to come out strong in the first half,” Jeeps coach Corey Claxon said. “We seemed to add up some goals there pretty quick. We have Northwest next. They have had a good year, have a couple of good forwards up front and I’m looking forward to a good game.”

South Webster hosts Northwest Wednesday at 5 p.m.
