Notre Dame volleyball stays unbeaten in SOC I

The Notre Dame volleyball team (4-2, 3-0 SOC I) swept its way to a win on Tuesday, defeating Western in three games 25-15, 26-24, 25-18 in Latham.

The Titans were led offensively by sophomore Lexi Smith and senior Raygan Kayser. Smith totaled a team-high 15 kills and 11 points, while Kayser came up with 12 kills and six points.

Junior Hagen Schaefer also came up with 11 points for Notre Dame, and recoded 32 assists as the Titans’ setter.

Sophomore Ali Smith proved the be Notre Dame’s defensive leader on the evening, as she recorded 22 digs, while junior Emma Monroe added 16 of her own.

Both teams are back in SOC I action on Thursday, as Notre Dame hosts Clay and Western hosts Symmes Valley.
