The Notre Dame Lady Titans were fierce on the court Monday night, beating the Valley Indians 61-27 at home. The Titans have had a tremendous season with an overall record of 14-1 and 10-0 in the conference.

“We had another good defensive night causing turnovers and getting good looks off the turnovers,” said Notre Dame Head Coach JD McKenzie.

Notre Dame was led by repeat top scorer Hagen Schaefer with 21 points, three rebounds and three assists. She was supported by Lexi Smith with 10 points and 10 rebounds and Molly Hoover with nine points and eight assists.

“Molly Hoover recorded her 27th assist in the last 3 games and has been tremendous getting her teammates the ball where they need to score,” McKenzie commented. “Lexi, Katie (Dettwiller) and Catelynn (Ball) have been tremendous controlling the paint on both sides of the floor. Hagen has been doing a good job getting out in transition and knocking down the open jumpers. Our young kids have played a lot lately and are giving us some really good minutes.”

Notre Dame will return to the court Thursday at Symmes Valley. Valley will face the Waverly Tigers also on Thursday at Valley.
