The Eastern Eagles played an aggressive game agains the Notre Dame Titans in which both teams fought for a win.
“Eastern broke open a close game outscoring ND 15-6 in the third quarteringoing 6/13 from the field while limiting ND to 2/15,” explained a Notre Dame grandparent John Walker.
Eastern was led by Michael Miller, who scored 13 points. Miller is a sophomore and plays center. He was supported by senior guard Clay Miller’s 11 points. Among Miller’s points was three-three point baskets.
The Titans were led in scoring by seniors Trevon Turner, with 13 points, and Aaron Bazler, who scored 12 points.
Notre Dame falls to 8-3, 4-2 while Eastern advances to 11-2, 6-0.
Notre Dame will play again Tuesday on the road against the East Tartans. The Eagles will meet New Boston on Tuesday at home.
