The Clay Lady Panthers were on the prowl for some Tartans as they hit the road to East on Thursday night. The Panthers beat the Tartans with a final score of 56-51 in a tight game between two aggressive teams.
Clay (9-4, 6-2) took the lead in the first quarter and maintained that lead until the third period when East finally got the advantage. However, the Tartans were not in the lead for long as the Panthers retook the game in the final quarter.
Leading for the Panthers was Jensen Warnock with 20 points. Warnock scored eight-two points, one-three pointer and made one of five free throws. Freshman Lauren Campbell followed Warnock with 14 points. Campbell scored six-two pointers and made two of six free throws.

Clay will face the Green Bobcats Monday on the Panther court. East will also play at home against Symmes Valley on Sunday.
