Shawnee State’s Jonessa Moore is the Mid-South Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

* Moore helped No. 10 Shawnee State to a pair of wins last week at the Keiser (Fla.) Classic.
* In her first appearance of the week, she scored 21 points and grabbed eight boards as the Bears edged out Valley City State (N.D.), 78-75.
* Against Keiser, Moore tallied 15 points and six rebounds for Shawnee State in a 61-49 victory.
* She finished the week shooting 53.6 percent from the floor along with a pair of assists, a block and a steal. The Bears now sit at 17-1 on the season.
* Moore earns her second weekly honor of the season and of her career.
