The South Webster Jeeps kept their winning streak alive, beating the Valley Indians 7-0 Tuesday night.
South Webster (12-0-1, 5-0 SOC) was led by Shane Zimmerman who scored two goals and two assists. Zimmerman kicked off the scoring, lighting the lamp two minutes into the game. His second goal game 10 minutes into the contest.
Sam Holstein also had a strong game with one goal and an assist. Trevor Coriell and Zach Robinson essentially had the night off in net as neither goal keeper was forced to make a save to record the shutout.
Jeeps head coach Corey Claxon was pleased with his team’s performance and the amount of playing time he was able to provide for his inexperienced players.
“We did what we needed to do early in this game,” Claxon said. “The younger players got some good experience tonight and the older players should be good and rested for Senior Night Thursday vs. Athens.”

The Wheelersburg Pirates beat the Oak Hill Oaks in straight sets Tuesday.
Wheelersburg (14-2, 11-0) was led by Makayla Akers who recorded 12 kills. The Facilitator for the Pirate offense was Abbie Kallner who dished out 24 assists.
Kasey Bergan had a strong night, recording 19 points and 10 digs. Mia Darnell also chipped in with nine digs.

Notre Dame 3, Clay 0
The Notre Dame Titans beat the Clay Panthers in straight sets to pick up a road victory Tuesday.
Notre Dame was led by Lexi Smith who recorded 21 kills, six blocks and six digs. Katie Detwiller and Hagen Schaefer both contributed with eight and five kills respectively. Schaefer also added 36 assists and seven digs to her stat line.
Leading the defense on the night was Emma Monroe and freshman Sophia Hassel. Monroe recording 16 while Hassel came away with 12 digs to lead the Titans.
Clay was led by Jensen Warnock who recorded 14 kills and 19 digs. Lila Brown recorded 18 assists and 19 digs. Defensively, Skylar Artis contributed 10 digs for the Panthers.

Portsmouth 3, Rock Hill 0
The Portsmouth Trojans beat Rock Hill in straight sets Tuesday to pick up their 12th victory of the season.
Portsmouth (12-4, 11-1) was led by Aiden Fields who recorded 16 kills, six digs and five points. Baleigh Bradley recorded 11 points, 21 digs and two kills.
Allison Douthat, who earlier this season recorded her 1,000th-career assist and becoming the first player in Trojan history to accomplish that feat, recorded 29 helpers, five digs and four points.
The Trojans travel to Gallia Academy Thursday.
