My life is full steam ahead. I am always running from one thing to another. I work nearly every day here at the Daily Times, then I try to get a lot of work done around my property. I teach a class on Sunday and in the midst of everything, noise abounds. I hear truck engines and sirens around the clock, and hear the construction crews working all night. To top it all off, the explosions from the construction site shake my house and things fall off the wall, even full shelving units have come crashing to the ground.
On Saturday, my wife Joyce treated me to something I will never forget. She took me to Paramount Beauty Academy for a full-body massage performed by the incomparable Amanda Graham. Talk about a change in my atmosphere. The lights were dimmed down, new age music played, and Amanda spoke only in a whisper. I decided right at the outset that I was not going to talk, but instead take in the solitude for the next hour.
I can tell you there is nothing like a full-body massage in a quiet atmosphere. Amanda was wonderful. She is masterful at the art of massage. She takes her time and allows you to fully enjoy the experience. Whoever thought just having your fingertips caressed could be an experience in itself? I can tell you I had sensory points in my hands and feet and in my shoulders and back I did not know I had.
It was a shear delight. One that will stay with me for a long time. A special thanks to Amanda for her wonderful work and to my wife for treating me to that great experience.
In this day and age nearly everyone reports they have a stressful life. I would suggest you give up that stressful life for about an hour real soon. Get a full-body massage at the paramount Beauty Academy, and lose yourself in the relaxation of the experience. Close your eyes, shut everything out and concentrate on the delight a full-body massage brings to your sensory being.
I would recommend a full-body massage to anyone, stressed or not. If you want to treat someone to something special, get them a full-body massage and they will thank you forever.
I appreciate the training and talents of Amanda and the other members of the staff at paramount, and thank them for giving me the best moments of solitude I have had in a long long time.
