We live in a society where everyone is looking for leadership. I learned this at a young age as football captain and class president. Also, having my own business and writing. These articles are both forms of being positive and informative to our community.
Somewhere along the line, most have lost a sense of consciousness and creativity. They look to elected officials to lead and correct all the faults they find in government . When you’re looking for leadership, why not you?
This article is like all others I write, in as much as it’s meant to be positive and encouraging. Many are about FYI on landscape, lawn, or trees but many are also about improving community pride and it starts with us.
We shouldn’t expect others to improve our lives in Scioto County and especially from Washington D.C. Who can understand or improve local needs better than locals? Now the smoke has cleared and we are on this path, why not be positive and part of making America great again?
I’m personally not interested in your agenda unless it’s to make America better. We need to do our part to be supportive and instrumental in making America stronger in military, education, economy and world power. We’ve been there and now is the pivotal moment to step up and be part of the movement to make America great again.
When’s the last time a candidate beat both political machines? The Silent Majority decided to speak for a change this time and they voted their conscience. When’s the last time that neither a political nor military background put a person in The White House? It wasn’t just me who put him there – it was the majority of your neighbors and hopefully you too.
Let’s hope that we can all work together in uniting America. Far too long most have dedicated themselves to an agenda of priding themselves as either Democrat or Republican. This has been the race we’ve been in internally in this county and country and it’s allowed other countries to pass us in the race. We’ve exhausted each other in the third lap and allowed foreign countries to pass us in the bell lap. I believe that this election shows us clearly that this time we voted as Americans and put America ahead of personal politics.
What we have now is an unproven politician at the helm. This is good. He isn’t driven by or obligated to any political party. Both parties saw the Trump Train coming and tried to derail it. This means the end of their comfort zone once elected. They might have to actually earn their keep now or be ousted by this non-political person. I believe this is why the Silent Majority spoke.
There’s a book entitled The Great Divider and it’s about the guy who’s been at the helm for the past 8 years. It shows how the nation’s economy, military, races, and political parties have been greatly divided and he’s the main reason. Now we can start to unify all these segments and make America great again. Most of what I’ve said could be taken as a national situation but it all starts at home. It has to be the same thinking to solve issues at the national, state, and county level.
Now is a great time to be an American because you’re closer to determining your own destiny than you’ve been lately, Make your choices for America and stick to them. Make America great again. Why not you?
If you need to be convinced that we’re headed in the right direction, don’t dwell on those rioting and threatening to move to Canada. Those people are obviously quitters and would never be key factors in a meaningful society that took any effort anyway.
What we’ve known throughout the 2016 campaign was that Trump was the successful businessman and obviously the one to negotiate and maneuver America’s economy and dollar upward.
This is being written in November 2016 and the real indicators of progress appear to be the constant upward activity in the stock market and the fact that the U.S dollar is worth more today than it has been in 15 years.
This is where it starts. The jobs and negotiations go to the one with the money. Anyone looking for a united America will jump on the Trump Train. Why not you?
