Red Hat Society to host luncheon Sept. 17

Red Hat ladies are coming to see where southern hospitality begins. The Red Hat Society is a global society of women that supports and encourages women in their pursuit of fun, friendship, freedom, fulfillment and fitness.

The Rambling Roses Chapter is inviting ladies from all over to come to Portsmouth for a luncheon, Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, at the Holy Redeemer Center at 1325 Gallia Street will open doors at 11 a.m. Scioto Ribber will cater, Steve Free will entertain.

A Red Hat vendor, Barbara Leonard will be on site with LeLe’s Boutique. There will be a 50/50 drawing and a silent auction to benefit Hospice. Life Ambulance will provide buses to offer a free tour of the Portsmouth Floodwall murals at conclusion of the program.

Joining the Red Hat Society fulfills life, love and legacy because you become a real member, not just a woman in a red hat. You help to make sure the RHS is still around when you are 100. This event is $35 for registered members of the Red Hat Society and $55 for those wanting to join and come for this day. The deadline is Aug.17, 2016.
