The Portsmouth Parks and Recreation Committee Inc. will be hosting their second annual Spring Arts and Crafts Bazaar on April 16, 2016 at the American Legion Post 23, 705 Court Street in Portsmouth. The event will be held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. with vendor access to begin at 7 a.m.

The vendor fee of $15 provides an 8-foot table for display of goods and merchandise. A list of vendors is available on their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/portsmouthparksand recreation/. No firearm sales. No home-cooked foods and no illegal items as defined by law.

There will be 50/50 drawings every hour and concessions will also be available.

“Remember that 100 percent of our proceeds go to supporting and improving our local park system,” Rich Saddler, chairman of the committee said. “We are also proud to announce that we have officially received our 501c3 tax exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service.
