SCIOTO — The Scioto County Health Department is now offering the ability to schedule an appointment online.

The next first dose Moderna Clinics will be Tuesday and Wednesday, March 23 and 24 in the lobby of the Scioto County Courthouse from 9 a.m. until noon and 1 to 3 p.m. There will also be a first dose Moderna clinic Thursday evening, March 25 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. also in the courthouse lobby.

All Scioto County Health Department clinics are free, so when registering you do not need to enter insurance information. You also Do Not need an access code. Just enter the zip code 45662 when promoted and click on Scioto County Health Department.

If you prefer to schedule your appointment by phone you can call one of the two Scioto County Health Department’s scheduling lines, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and one of their schedulers will be happy to help you. The scheduling numbers are 740-302-3801 or 740-302-8277.

All Ohioans 40 years old and older and those with the medical conditions of cancer, chronic kidney disease, COPD, heart disease, and obesity are now eligible to receive the vaccine.
