(Ashland, KY) — The Kentucky State Police in Ashland have arrested two Greenup County, KY residents after conducting an investigation into a physical assault which resulted in death.
On January 9, 2016 at 10:03 pm the Kentucky State Police received a call for assistance from the Greenup County Sheriff’s Department pertaining to an alleged shooting at 32 Moccasin Way in Argillite, KY. It was initially reported Todd Anthony Rowe, age 35, of Argillite, KY had been shot by Johhny Clark, age 48, and John Clark, age 21, both also of Argillite, KY.
Upon arrival on scene it was determined Johnny Clarke, John Clark and Todd Rowe had been involved in a physical altercation which resulted in Rowe being fatally shot.
Interviews and evidence obtained during the course of the investigation led to the following:
Johnny Clark, age 48, of Argillite, KY was arrested, lodged in the Greenup County Detention Center and charged with the following:
John Clark, age 21, of Argillite, KY was arrested, lodged in the Greenup County Detention Center and charged with the following:
Execution of Bench Warrants for Court (3 counts)
The following agencies responded and assisted during the course of the investigation: Greenup County Sheriff’s Department, Greenup County Coroner’s Office and Greenup County EMS.
The case is still under investigation by Detective Sam Lawson.
An autopsy is being conducted on Monday, January 11, 2016 at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort, KY.
