The Valley Indians will be celebrating their 2016 Basketball Homecoming Ceremony Friday January 22, 2016 between the Junior Varsity and Varsity games. The Indians will be hosting the Wheelersburg Pirates.
This year’s Homecoming Queen is Kamryn Conaway. Kamryn is the daughter of Don and Barb Conaway of Lucasville. Kamryn is a member of the Varsity Basketball team in which she has played for 4 years, participated in Volleyball for 4 years and Track for 3 years. She is a member of the yearbook staff, the pep club, Bible club, and 4H. She has also participated in AAU Travel basketball for 5 years and is a member of Salem Community Church. After graduation, Kamryn plans to continue her basketball career on the collegiate level at the University of Rio Grande.
Kamryn will be escorted by Bryce Romanello, son of Matt and Mareena Romanello of Lucasville and Blake Brewer, son of Lynn Brewer of Portsmouth and Debbie Jenkins of Lucasville.
First Senior Attendant is Laken Munn . Laken is the daughter of Brent and Tracy Munn of Minford. She will be escorted by Aaron Linne, son of Betsey Chapman of Portsmouth and Jeffery Linne of Portsmouth.
Second Senior Attendant is Bekah Roth. Bekah is the daughter of Clint and Shannon Roth of Lucasville and Renee Roth and Gary Crabtree of West Portsmouth. She will be escorted by Drew Wolford, son of John and Sig Wolford of Lucasville.
SCCTC Attendant is Christina Roberts. Christina is the daughter of Tammy and Kenneth Roberts of Lucasville. She will be escorted by Kenny Williams, son of Nancy and Joe Williams of Lucasville.
Junior Attendant is Brooklyn Jenkins. Brooklyn is the daughter of Heather and Jason Jenkins of Lucasville. She will be escorted by Zachary Mayo, son of Amanda and Bo Mayo of Lucasville.
Sophomore Attendant is Brooke Large. Brooke is the daughter of Sonja Gambill of Lucasville and Jason Large of Portsmouth. She will be escorted by Cayton Ruby, son of Jason and Debi Ruby of Lucasville.
Freshman Attendant is Bailee Day. Bailee is the daughter of Andy and Krista Day of Lucasville. She will be escorted by Andrew Shope, son of Terry and Ellen Shope of Lucasville.
The flower girl is Lauryn Trinidad, daughter of Megan Whisman and Gerry Trinidad of West Portsmouth.
Crown Bearers are Max Harley, son of Lisa and Bill Harley of Lucasville and Turner Young, son of Laine and Jason Young of West Portsmouth.
