Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini announced Friday that his office received a call on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, from a woman stating that her son age 15 did not go to school.

The caller advised that she sent her father-in-law over to the house to check on her son and found an adult female in the bed under the covers with her son.

Captain John W. Murphy stated that a detective was able to interview the juvenile boy who disclosed that he has had sexual relations with the female and that drugs were involved.

Murphy stated that on Friday, February 21, 2020, the detectives were able to obtain copies of videos from snapchat which resulted in the suspect being detained without incident for questioning at her residence located at 5528 Farney Avenue Sciotoville, Ohio.

Arrested was Rebecca Constance Jones, age 38 of 5528 Farney Avenue, Sciotoville, Jones has been charged with 4 counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a felony of the 3rd degree. Jones is being held on a $40,000 bond and will appear in Portsmouth Municipal Court on Monday, February 24, 2020

Captain Murphy stated that this is still an ongoing investigation and that detectives have received information stating the possibility of additional underage victims that could result in additional charges being presented to the grand jury on a later date.
