The Lucasville chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star has recently installed its officers for 2020. With these new officers installed, the lodge seeks to further the history of the Eastern Star. A coed fraternity, “Charity, friendships, family, and faith” are all cornerstones of the organization. The Lodge has installed several officers, a few being: Worthy Matron; Denise Gregory, Worthy Patron; Paul Kennedy, Associate Matron; Kim Evans, Associate Patron; Dennis Evans, Secretary; Davida Spriggs, Treasurer; Lloyd Eichenlaub.
It is stated that although times have changed, fraternal fellowship and charitable endeavors are the organization’s roots. The group is a way for people to come together, no matter gender, age, or walk of life, and give back to their community.
Lodge #495 has served Lucasville since its inception in 1925. The Eastern Star has been in effect since the 19th century. Its founder, Rob Morris, was a poet and Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Kentucky. He based the Eastern Star on the principles of charity, truth, and loving-kindness. Since then, his organization has grown into a world wide fraternity with over 650,000 members around the globe.
The Lucasville Chapter meets the second Tuesday of each month For more information or questions, email [email protected]
