Man killed in 4-wheeler / truck crash.

A four-wheeler – truck crash has claimed the life of a Scioto County man. William G. Koller, 27, of 10127 High Street in Rarden was transported from the scene of the crash in Rarden to Southern Ohio Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

According to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office report, Koller was operating a Honda 450R ATV with no headlight around 8:36 p.m. Saturday on High Street (Ohio 772).

A 2001 Chevrolet Truck operated by Scott Hoffer of 908 Dunlap Road in Peebles pulled out from Oak Street to make a left turn onto High Street when the passenger side of his truck was struck by the four-wheeler which smashed the passenger side window.

The report said Hoffer did not see anything until the impact. The Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted at the scene.

The report said Koller’s body was transported for autopsy to determine toxicology. The crash remains under investigation.
