Law enforcement is issuing a warning to area businesses to be on the lookout for a Coal Grove man alleged to have been forging checks and cashing them at several stores around Scioto County.

Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini said Scott E. Fisher, 44, of Coal Grove, is currently wanted for several counts of forgery and passing bad checks.

Fisher has warrants out in several surrounding counties. His last known address is in Coal Grove, Ohio.

A & A Janitorial Services is the name on the fraudulent account in which checks have been forged and cashed, Donini stated.

Sheriff Donini wants area businesses to be aware of Fisher’s fraudulent use of checks, to be on the lookout and refuse Fisher’s checks.

Detectives are currently working several cases involving these fraudulent checks.

Anyone with any information concerning this case or any similar cases is being requested to contact the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office at 740-354-7566. According to Sheriff Donini, all calls will remain anonymous.
