RUSSELL, Ky. — The Bon Secours Kentucky Health System will present the 32nd installment of the Lights of Love celebration Tuesday, Dec. 1, on the campus of Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital (OLBH). The event is free to the public and will begin at 6 p.m. at the hospital’s front entrance.

Kevin Compton, Bon Secours Kentucky Health System Communications & Advocacy Specialist extends an invitation to the community to be a part of the Lights of Love event.

“Lights of Love is the annual kick-off to the Christmas season at OLBH. We invite the community to come join us in the festivities,” Compton said.

In addition to the OLBH annual tree lighting ceremony, a hearty line up of performances are scheduled, including the Kentucky Christian University Choral Society, Holy Family School, and the Adult Handbell Choir from Advance United Methodist Church, Flatwoods under the direction of Diana Williams.

A Christmas angel on the tree can be dedicated in honor or memory of a loved one for those who make a donation of $5. Proceeds benefit the hospital’s Lifeline service – a home-emergency response unit that provides seniors assistance with just the push of a button.

The Lifeline system is a unit connected to the telephone, allowing the Lifeline user to utilize a small remote control to signal for help in the event of an emergency. A call center is notified to send help when signaled.

To purchase an angel for Lights of Love call 606-833-3653. For more information concerning Lifeline, call 606-833-3777.
