Three people were injured and initial reports say a person was trapped in a vehicle following a two car accident Monday.

According to the Portsmouth Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Lang-Slocum Rd., initially reported as St. Rt. 140, in South Webster around noon on Monday.

According to the patrol, one driver was transported to Cabell Huntington and is listed as stable condition, while the second driver and a passenger was transported to Columbus.

Identities of those involved, 0r whether any citations were written in connection with the accident were not readily available at press time.
