Greenup County woman jail for drug trafficking

WORTHINGTON, Ky. — According to reports from the FADE Drug Task Force, Beverly Reed 43, of Worthington, Ky. was arrested Wednesday evening on multiple drug charges.

According to reports, FADE worked in conjunction with the Worthington Police Department, acting upon a narcotics search warrant in the 400 block of First Avenue in Worthington, Ky. The search resulted in the arrest of Reed, and being charged with three counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

Authorities said an investigation preceded the search, and also included a series of search drug buys out of the residence by the FADE Task Force officers. Multiple oxycodone pills and evidence drug activity were discovered and seized by officers.

Reed was arrested and transported to the Greenup County Detention Center.
