WURTLAND, Ky. — Greenup County Extension Office is extending an invitation to the public to join them for the second annual Holiday Market & Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Greenup County Extension Office (GCEO) Local artists and crafters will be set up to sell crafts, holiday items and much more.
Lora Pullin, GCEO agent, said the Holiday Market & Craft Fair highlights products and goods made by local artisans.
“We have vendors coming in who are local artisans and crafters who make handmade, homemade items,” Pullin said. “This gives them the opportunity to come in and display those products, with free admission for people who would like to come in and purchase those items.”
She said the Holiday Market & Craft Fair was such a great success last year, so they decided to host it again.
“This is our second annual, and last year we had a fantastic turnout, so we are going with it again this year,”she said. “Vendors have to reserve their table, but we have actually filled up all of our vendor spaces, and do not have any more openings for vendors at this time.”
She said the Extension is hopeful that the community will come out and support the local vendors and purchase some hand-crafted holiday gifts.
