10 receive indictments by grand jury

Scioto County Prosecutor Shane Tieman announced the September term of the Scioto County Grand Jury met on October 5 and returned 10 Public Indictments. The Defendants Indicted are charged as follows:

Edward Scott Fisher, 47, Coal Grove: failure to appear.

Crystal T.L. Wilburn, 32, Blue Creek: possessing criminal tools, aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs.

Austin Michael Duncan, 20, Minford: grand theft of a motor vehicle.

James R. Smith, 38, Franklin Furnace: aggravated possession of drugs, possessing drug abuse instruments.

Daniel Stewart Hemming, 44, McDermott: breaking and entering, grand theft of a motor vehicle.

Joshua Collins, 37, Portsmouth: aggravated possession of drugs, possession of drugs, possession of heroin, possessing drug abuse instruments.

Charles D. Shoemaker, 24, Toledo: possession of a deadly weapon while under detention.

Charles R. Crabtree, 29, McDermott: receiving stolen property.

Charles E. Payne, 22,

Martinsburg, W. Va.: trafficking in counterfeit controlled substances.

Carolyn Dean Long, 27, Portsmouth: aggravated possession of drugs, possessing drug abuse instruments.
