A Leadership Breakfast is coming to Portsmouth, that will feature Dr. Stan Toler, a speaker on Monday, Sept. 21, at 8 a.m. at the Portsmouth Welcome Center, 342 Second Street in Portsmouth. The event is sponsored by Scioto County Commissioner Bryan Davis and the Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce.
Davis, who will also be the host for the Leadership Breakfast, said he is excited about the event which will be a great networking opportunity for people in the local area.
“I am very excited to announce a Leadership Breakfast event featuring Dr. Stan Toler as our guest speaker,” Davis said. “Dr. Toler’s experience in the area of leadership extends far beyond the walls of the church to effective national and international business practices.
This event is geared to help Pastors and business leaders from our area to network, build relationships and excel in their calling and career based on solid Biblical principle. My hope is that through this event we will get to know each other better, build synergies, and work together to better our community and region.”
In addition to the Portsmouth Area Chamber of Commerce, Davis said he has also been working with Timothy Throckmorton, Pastor of Crossroads Church in Circleville to make the event possible.
Dr. Toler, the event speaker, is a dynamic international speaker, bestselling author who has spoken in 80 countries and shared the platform with Zig Ziglar, Jerry Lucas, Rick Warren, Bill Hybels and Cy Young Award winner R.A. Dickey.
Toler is also known for being a compassionate teacher with an approachable and interactive leadership style fosters a high-energy, collaborative environment where growth and change occur. He is also described as an engaging presenter with a terrific sense of humor and the charm of a Southern storyteller.
