Troopers confiscated hundreds of opiates and marijuana in the process of a major arrest last week. As a result, Patrece R. Scott, 26, of Louisville, Kentucky is charged with possession of drugs and trafficking in schedule-2 drugs, both second-degree felonies.

Troopers said they stopped a 2001 Black Ford SUV, with Kentucky registration, for a defective license plate light and marked lanes violations on U.S. 23 southbound near milepost 8, in Scioto County at 9:24 p.m. on September 3.

During interaction with the driver, troopers said they detected an odor of marijuana coming from her person. A search of the driver revealed a bag containing 520 Oxycodone pills, 103 Alprazolam pills, and a pill bottle containing eight grams of marijuana. The contraband has an approximate street value of $12,500.
