Shawnee State University’s Workforce Development invites all SSU students, faculty, staff and surrounding community to attend Leigh Greene’s lecture as part of the Entrepreneurial Journey Series on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m. in Room 205 in the Clark Memorial Library.
If you have dreamt of starting your own business or are interested in entrepreneurship, Greene’s lecture is the one for you. Come and listen as she breaks down her successful journey in becoming a business owner and entrepreneur.
Greene owns a State Farm franchise in Wheelersburg, Ohio where she works as a State Farm agent. Along with her State Farm experience, Greene graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Ohio University Southern and has eleven years of experience as a pharmaceutical sales rep. She is an active member of the Lawrence County Domestic Task Force and a member of the Portsmouth Area Chamber of Commerce. Greene currently resides in Kentucky with her husband and two children.
Admission is free and open to all attendees.
“The Workforce Development is sponsoring this series as a way to promote entrepreneurship on campus and encourage not just our students, but community members as well, to learn about the skills needed to establish and expand their own businesses,” said Angela Duduit, Coordinator of Alumni Career Services and Workforce Development at SSU.
