Two men charged in burglary

LEWIS COUNTY, Ky. — According to reports from the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, two men of Vanceburg, Ky., have been arrested and charged in connection with a burglary which transpired last week.

Reports reveal that Tony Blevins, 46, and Tyler Blevins, 25, both of Vanceburg, Ky., have been arrested regarding the theft of blank checks, allegedly stolen by the two men. The burglary occurred in Camp Dix, Ky., at the home of Mark and Bree Blevins.

Tyler Blevins has been charged with second degree possession of a forged instrument, receiving stolen property (firearm), a class B felony. Tony Blevins has been charge with receiving stolen property (firemarm), and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, a class D felony.

Both men were arrested and transported to the Lewis County Detention Center.
