Mundanus Group LLC, announced it was partnering with local Southern Ohio companies to become the leading manufacturer of various polypropylene products centered around logistics and various defense agencies.

“The combination of local companies with our manufacturing technology will provide our clients with superior products in much more efficient timeframes,” said Dr. Bilal Onal, president of Mundanus Group. “The partnerships are also expected to result in greater efficiencies and significantly increase market share,” added Dr. Onal.

Mundanus Group having partnered and developed SMV Land Holding LLC is dedicated to bringing growth and financial stability to Scioto County residents. Through multiple off-set programs SMV LLC intends to invest into the community and continue to bring R&D to the region.

SMV has invested over $2.5 million dollars currently into the County and intends to bring over $10 million dollars total in new proprietary technology to their existing facilities within the region.

Currently SMV is in the process of investing an additional $2.5 million dollars to begin building what will be the start of a new thriving industrial area located at the Greater Portsmouth Regional Airport.

The new facility will be worth approximately $18 million dollars once complete and house over $10 million dollars in machinery and employ upwards of 120 persons from the local community.

Being the catalyst of what will be a thriving regional industrial park, the facility will be over 140,000 square feet and supply training to both the local Scioto County Career Technical Center and Shawnee State University through great support from SCCTC.

“We feel that we are only as strong as the individuals that we surround ourselves with. The mentality we strive to create is state, county, and community,” stated Kursat Durak, Lead R&D Engineer of the Group.

Through the great dedication and committment of the Scioto County Commissioners and support of various state agencies,including the impecable leadership of SCCTC; SMV is working to begin development of the new facility and will be in full operation by early spring 2018.

SMV is committed to the growth and stimulation of Scioto County by implementing training, job placement, and also future certifications through the medical, aviation, and industrial manufacturing fields. It is the future intent of SMV to bring other opportunites to the region by bringing additional operations and technological developements.
