Local fireworks shows and events:
– July 1: Greenup Fireworks, festivities will begin at 6 p.m. with fireworks launching at 9:45 p.m.
– July 1: Piketon Fireworks, fireworks launched at dusk.
– July 2: Rubyville Community Church will host their Faith and Family Independence Day service at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks to follow at approximately 9:30 p.m.
– July 3: Portsmouth Midway rides open at 4 p.m.
– July 4: Portsmouth Fireworks, local entertainment performances will be held from 6-9:45 p.m. and fireworks will launch at 9:45 p.m.
