Detectives have confiscated 16 grams of heroin and arrested a Dayton couple. Carlisha Shacoz’e Hill, 22 and Marlin K. Robinson, 23, are charged with trafficking in drugs within a 1000 feet of a school, felony of the first degree and possession of drugs, a second-degree felony. Hill also had an outstanding warrant for her arrest issued in Greene County, Ohio for felony drug possession.
On Friday ( Jan. 13, 2017), at approximately 11:20 a.m., the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force, with assistance from detectives and officers with the Portsmouth Police Department, detectives with the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office, and an investigator with the Scioto County Prosecutor’s Office, executed a narcotics-related search warrant at 1417 Franklin Ave. Portsmouth, Ohio.
Detectives seized approximately 16 grams of suspected heroin along with additional evidence suspected of being related to drug trafficking.
Hill and Robinson were taken into custody and were placed in the Scioto County Jail. They are to be arraigned in Portsmouth Municipal Court on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.
The case will be forwarded to the Scioto County Prosecutor’s Office to be presented to a Scioto County grand jury for the consideration of additional felony drug-related charges.
