Each year, members of the South Webster and Bloom-Vernon communities come together for the Annual Tour of Homes, Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016.
Guests are shuttled to each participating house where they are provided with refreshments and a tour of the home.
“We ask people if they’d like to volunteer to be a stop on the tour and they always say yes,” said Elementary School Principal, Sandy Smith.
According to Smith, the event provides members of the community with an opportunity to bond with their neighbors, make new friends and celebrate the holiday season.
Tickets are available at $25 and can be purchased at the following locations: Bloom-Vernon Elementary, South Webster High School, Scioto Smiles and Stewart’s Stewart’s Supply in South Webster. The Elementary school will also be open at 4 p.m. for last minute ticket sales.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Bloom-Vernon parent teacher organization (PTO) and provides funds for their annual Challenge Day.
“Our Challenge Day vision is that every child lives in a world where they feel safe, loved and celebrated,” said Smith. For more information, please visit www.challengeday.org
