At Donnie Martin Heating and Cooling Inc., experience, timeliness and expertise has been their calling card for years. Deanna Martin of Donnie Martin Heating Cooling Inc. said because of their reputation they have built a business, meeting the heating and cooling needs of the area.
Donnie Martin Heating and Cooling Inc. opened in 1984. Prior to opening the business Donnie Martin had worked with various heating and cooling businesses, gaining experience.
Deanna said prior to opening the business Donnie had gained a following of consumers, which depended on him for heating and air services.
Thirty one years later Donnie Martin Heating and Cooling is still working to meet the commercial refrigeration and heating and cooling needs of the area and region.
She said because Donnie Martin Heating and Cooling is a family business, they have very little turn-over in staff.
“My mom worked with me for 26 years until she passed 5 years ago. She worked with us from the ground floor of the business,” Deanna said.
Over the years the business has built a reputation in the community.
“We’ve been really blessed to stay busy, we do a lot of commercial and commercial refrigeration work, “Deanna said.
Donnie Martin is licensed to do work in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia.
“We just recently did some jobs for AEP in West Virginia. We just completed a job at Portsmouth Metropolitan Housing; we just completed the new St. Mary annex in Portsmouth. We residential work, but we do a lot of commercial work as well,” Deanna said.
She said the business has a lot of consumers that’s been with them since the beginning and are still with them.
“That says a lot and makes you feel like you’re doing something right. You’ve treated people right or they would not have stayed with you. We definitely appreciate that,” Deanna said.
Deanna and Donnie have one son Rase, Pastor at First Church of Christ in Wheelersburg. A Daughter in law Perri and a grandson Christian, that’s attending Kentucky Christian University with intents of going into ministry after graduation.
