1/2 lb. macaroni -boil in water, drain
Stir in: 1 t. butter
1 egg
3 c. grated sharp cheese (reserve 1/2 cup for top)
Put in buttered casserole. Mix together:
1 t. dry mustard (dissolve in 1 T. hot water)
1 t. salt
1 c. milk
Pour milk mixture over macaroni.
Sprinkle with reserved cheese.
Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes until custard is set.
